Traditional forceps and elevator extractions can be traumatic and tedious. Root tip extraction can involve a lot of bone removal with an imprecise rotating high speed bur and risk of injury to adjacent nerves and blood vessels.

Piezo surgical technology allows extraction of broken teeth and roots with maximum preservation of the extraction socket.  The Piezo surgical unit acts as a powered periotome that severs the periodontal ligament around the tooth until complete avulsion.

Piezo extraction tips separate the tooth from its attachment system for a rapid extraction.
