Learn the location of the “dangerous face triangle” as it relates implant complications. Review the location of the mental nerve, the lingual nerve, the greater palatine artery, and the inferior alveolar nerve as they relate to implant surgery. Review maxillary sinus anatomy and the nerves of the maxillary bone. Learn how to manage bleeding complication in implant surgery. How to diagnose a mandibular fracture and how to manage complications such as hematoma, perforation of the lingual bony cortex and openings into the nasal or maxillary sinus.
